Rammed earth (adobe)

Rammed earth essentially allows the construction of massive, rectilinear walls, although it is also possible to obtain curved walls thanks to recent developments in formwork. The thin layers of compacted earth are visible, which gives a unique texture to the rammed earth creations.

rammed earth, through its ability to absorb and release water vapor, regulates humidity levels and thus contributes to hygrothermal comfort.
